Allegation status:
The allegations read: Following a customer's complaint alleging an unauthorized trade, the broker corresponded with the customer using the broker's personal email in contravention of the firm's written supervisory procedures. In the personal email, and unbeknownst to the firm, the broker attempted to privately negotiate an agreement with the customer which the broker stated that he (the broker) would keep in his "in-house folder". The broker's email also stated, in part, that "?once headquarters and/or attorneys get involved, there is no chance of you recouping monies".
