Allegations against: John David Mcevoy

The allegations read: A civil lawsuit was filed in denmark naming john mcevoy as a defendant in his individual capacity as a former director of cybercity holdings as, a danish company ("cybercity"). Mr. Mcevoy is a partner at wayzata investment partners llc. The suit was filed by a former consultant to cybercity who held warrants in the company. It alleges that the board of directors conducted an unlawful restructuring and receivership of cybercity and procured an improper valuation to support the restructuring. The invdividual director defendants believe that the restructuring and receivership was conducted in a proper and lawful manner. On december 1, 2006, the copenhagen maritime and commercial court ("maritime court") rejected the claims on the basis that they were not timely filed. The plaintiff appealed the decision to the danish supreme court. On may 29, 2008, the danish supreme court revoked the judgment of the maritime court and remitted the case to the maritime court to be heard on its merits. On october 1, 2013, the maritime court ruler in favor of the defendants. The plaintiff has appealed the judgement to the danish supreme court. Cybercity was a portfolio company of a former employer of mr. Mcevoy. This lawsuit has nothing to do with wayzata investment partners llc, any of its other partners and employees, any of the funds it manages or any of its investments.
