The allegations read: Plaintiff [customer], an investor in the american
oportunity income fund, inc. Filed a punitive class action
lawsuit on july 12,1997. On september 7,1995, plaintiffs [customer]
et al filed an amended complaint alleging claims against eight
mutual funds and various individuals and entities. The amended

the investment co act; the washington consumer's protection
act. Plaintiffs seek recession of monetary damages, treble
compensatory damages, attorney fees, prejudgment interest +
costs. The amended complaint does not specify an amount of
damages sought.
